I Don't Need a Man to Make Me Happy, and other Single Ladies' Anthems ;)

Ladies and Gents, as I've specified earlier, I have officially been single for over 4 years now, and I have to tell you, I have never been happier in my life! Sure, it was hard at first. I used to be so desperate for affection and company, like I said before, I can't deny the hopeless romantic that will forever be a part of me. However, now that I've been single for all of this time, I've learned so much about myself and how to make the best of any situation, without the convenience of having a man wrapped around my shoulder. Besides, society gives so much crap to people who willfully choose to remain single. Everything is so heteronormative, even the cartoons we watch suggest that we should be in a relationship, and then we have our pestering parents and relatives who always push us to be with someone and have kids. I say to hell with all that! Let's celebrate the single life! So here are some Single Ladies' Anthems I would like to share with you :)

1) Pussycat Dolls - I Don't Need a Man  (such a fun classic!)

2) Avril Lavigne - What the Hell!? (this song is sooo fun!)

3) Destiny's Child - Independent Women Part 1 (this one takes you BACK, doesn't it?)

4) BeyoncĂ© - Single Ladies  (and ofcourse, the queen Bey herself and all of her glory. Okay, honestly, I'm not a huge BeyoncĂ© fan or anything, but some of her songs give more power to us, so enjoy!)

5) Kelly Clarkson - Since You Been Gone  (I've always loved Kelly Clarkson because she's so real and so down to earth. And get a load of her pipes!)

6) Kelly Clarkson - Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)
(One of her more recent hits and such a good one at that!)

7) Medina (Deadmau5 Remix) - You and I (This is one of my favorites to jam to.)

8)Miss A - I Don't Need a Man (even the Asian pop stars get in on this celebration of the single lady!)

I will add any others that come to mind, but for now, dance your butts off with these! =D
